Kayelynn is passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming environment at Small Talk CAC. She works to meet clients where they are in their healing journeys and support them along the way. Kayelynn works from a strengths-based perspective and prioritizes client’s sense of safety and security in the therapy space. Kayelynn is proactively committed to anti-racist work and being an LGBTQIA+ ally.
Kayelynn is nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In practice, Kayelynn utilizes these evidence-based therapy models and incorporates Motivational Interviewing (MI), expressive arts, and play therapy techniques when working with youth and families. Kayelynn is also trained in treating Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB) using TF-CBT for PSB, and Phase Based Treatment (PBT).
Outside of work, Kayelynn loves to go the movies (with popcorn of course!), do craft projects, and is always on the hunt for the best restaurants.
