Tess provides hope and healing to children and families who come to Small Talk by tailoring therapy to each client’s specific needs.

Tess has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and a variety of other therapeutic techniques.

Tess is here because she believes children and families have the strength to heal and overcome their trauma. She wants everyone to know that Small Talk is a welcoming and empowering environment for all clients to share their stories. After interning for Small Talk in 2017, she joined the staff in 2020.
