BAA | Family Studies with a Minor in American Sign Language | Central Michigan University

Megan provides support and advocacy to families who come through Small Talk in a variety of ways, including proving canine advocacy from Small Talk’s Canine Advocate, Loki. Megan discovered her passion for supporting and empowering children and families throughout the community. She is also passionate about working with the Deaf community and hopes to be able to use her skills to support deaf families within the area. Prior to this position, Megan worked with children of all ages in a variety of capacities, including working as a mentor for children in a variety of childcare settings. At Small Talk, Megan hopes to create a comfortable atmosphere for children, teens, and families throughout their healing journey.
